It’s finally here – Garden Party Weekend! July 19-21, 2019
This is the weekend that the Garden Promenade encourages everyone to get out and enjoy an activity in one – or more – of the Capital’s beautiful gardens.
This year the Garden Party activities are as diverse as the gardens that are hosting them.
For the traditionlists, enjoy a Tea Party at the Dominion Arboretum, Billings Estate or Mackenzie King Estate. History buffs, head to to Parliament Hill for the annual military and musical spectacular featuring massed military bands, pipes and drums, and the Ceremonial Guard; or bring your picnic basket to Rideau Hall. The kids will love storytime in the Reading Tent.
Garden Party Weekend is opening weekend for the NCC Bistro in Confederation Park. Now you can enjoy a glass of wine in a beautiful park setting. Or visit Tavern On The Hill/Tavern On The Falls for a signature Garden Party cocktail served in a glorious garden setting. There’s family fun at the Ice Cream Festival at the Canadian Food and Agriculture Museum, and at Boochfest, the 2nd annual Kombucha Festival in the Horticulture Building at Lansdowne Park.
The Garden Promenade Tour season is in full swing so you can enjoy a “roaming Garden Party” on a bus, walking or bike tour of Promenade gardens. Use the Promo Code GARDENPARTY for a $5 discount on any of the tours.

Whatever garden you choose, whichever event you attend, enjoy Garden Party Weekend on the Garden Promenade!
