Garden Promenade’s Self-Guided Tours
#GardenPromenade #MyOttawa #OutaouaisFun
2020 is the year of the Staycation. It’s a chance to discover wonderful places in your own city. We know that many people are spending as much time as they can outdoors in the fresh air, which benefits both physical and mental health.
Introducing the Garden Promenade Self-Guided Tours!
Experience the Garden Promenade your way. Enjoy these beautiful gardens with your own bubble of family and friends. Explore at your own pace. You can walk, bike or drive. The Farmer’s Almanac is forecasting warmer than usual temperatures for the Capital region right through until the end of October so there is still lots of time to discover the Garden Promenade garden experiences.
“Gardens Ottawa is pleased to invite everyone to take a Garden Promenade Self-Guided Tour and discover the Capital’s tremendous garden experience. Remember, a garden is a friend, especially in times of COVID-19.” Michel Gauthier, President, Gardens Ottawa
There are five different garden tours for you to visit and enjoy:
- Scotts Miracle-Gro Downtown Ottawa Gardens
- Central Experimental Farm Gardens
- Gatineau’s Brewery Creek Gardens
- Rideau Hall Gardens
- Off the Promenade Gardens
You will find garden descriptions, maps, and short videos about the self-guided tours on the Garden Promenade website.
Garden Promenade, managed by Gardens Ottawa, is made possible through the support of the National Capital Commission, its garden partners, its tourism partners and Scotts Miracle-Gro.
